Le spiagge di Cefalù

The beautiful beaches of Cefalù

Cefalù, located about 70 km from Palermo, is one of the most popular tourist destinations. If you have chosen Cefalù for your summer holiday, then you cannot fail to visit some of its most beautiful beaches.

Among the most popular beaches are:

Spiaggia del lungomare

This is the closest beach to our facility and, without doubt, the most famous one. Lungomare Gardina is indeed one of the most photographed promenades in the world and best known for its fine sand and the wonderful sunsets over the sea that can be admired from here. Several bathing establishments follow one another, offering tourists all the services they need to spend a pleasant day at the seaside.

Spiaggia Mazzaforno

An ideal spot for snorkelling enthusiasts who will be able to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life thanks to the presence of numerous rocks. This small bay is set in a breathtaking landscape.

Spiaggia Caldura

A pebbly beach dominated by a high cliff from which it takes its name. The bravest can dive off the cliffs. The beach is free, but rental equipment and refreshments are available. Caldura is only 20 minutes from the centre of Cefalù.

Spiaggia Settefrati

This beach is characterised by rock formations, from which its name originates. There are seven rocks emerging from the water at a short distance from each other, creating a picturesque atmosphere.

Spiaggia Capo Playa

Named after a famous town quarter, it is characterised by a wide shoreline of sand and pebbles. This beach is perfect for surfing and sailing enthusiasts. The sea is clean, but the seabed drops suddenly not far from the shore, so it is not recommended for children. You can also easily reach this beach using public transport.

Spiaggia Sant’Ambrogio

This is a lesser known and therefore less crowded beach, perfect for those who want to enjoy the sea in total relaxation. The waters are clear and transparent. It is located 6 km from Cefalù, in the direction of Messina.

Spiaggia Pollina

One of the largest beaches in Cefalù, with a coastline that extends no less than 11 kilometres. This beach is the ideal destination for those who like to have fun, especially in the evenings, as parties and bonfires are organised here with captivating music. It is easily reached from the town centre.

Spiaggia Salinelle

Another popular beach in Cefalù is Salinelle, located 8 km from the town. It is a long stretch of sand with bathing establishments and free areas. It is a perfect beach for windsurfing, spending time with friends and having fun. While the sea is clear, the bottom becomes deep a short distance from the shore, hence it is not recommended for children.
